Trend Review:EUR/USD hovers around the 1.0700 psychological level on Thursday during the early Asian session. The modest uptick of the major pair is supported by the softer US Dollar. Later in the day, Germany’s GfK Consumer Confidence Survey for April will be released.

Trend Theme:Oil prices closed slightly lower, Goldman Sachs “sold” and warned short sellers to increase their offensive.

Trend Review:Oil prices edged lower on Wednesday as concerns about conflicts in the Middle East eased and U.S. business activity slowed, although a drop in U.S. crude inventories limited losses. Goldman Sachs analysts said in a report that detente between Iran and Israel could lower oil prices by another $5-10 per barrel in the coming months. The International Energy Agency (IEA) forecast on Tuesday that electric vehicle sales will grow strongly in 2024 and increasingly weaken oil demand.
